running 4.6.6c; want to connect a new workstation to an existing domain; during set-up (I use a 4.6.1a CD) user ID is furnished by file and set-up prompts for password; pass word is recognized and I get connected to home server; but then set-up stops and tells me "user name not found in name and address book"; I am puzzled since I am logging into other workstation using the same user ID; anybody can direct me where to look at? and one more thing: when I recertify my ID I get the message:"the ID was certified but there was no corresponding entry in the Address Book to be updated"; has this anything to do with the above?

i have come accross this before. Usually, the problem lies with the registering mail server and it's domain. For instance - two domains ABC and XYZ. You create an ID for user in ABC. When you recertify him, you do this with an OU cert form XYZ (maybe because this is set as a default one and has been forgotten to be changed). It will recertify him, but will give you your error 'ID was certified but no entry found in address book. Check the users ID properties and see what OU they belong to and whether it is right.
