Hi there,

Well if you have no answer to your question yet, here it is. After the server install, install the admin software on one of your network machines. In the setup where it asks for your user.id or name, choose your name. Use your first initial and last name (that is if you used your name as the administrator)it will then ask for the administrator's password that was created durring setup on the server. That worked for me when the .id file was not created. Good Luck

this is because the id file is generated in the name and addressbook in the administrator's person document.

When you follow jambo's instruction above it'll contact the server and get the id from the admin's person document and remove the id file from the nab.

Another way to get to the id file would be to make sure the http task is loaded on the server (type 'show tasks' on the server console) and if not load it (type 'load http'). Then use a webbrowser to access enter the username & password you entered during server setup , browse to persons and open the admin's person document and download the id file.
