I have successfully built a DLL. I am not sure if the DLL is properly registered and I can't see my custom function within Crystal Reports.

Will I see my custom function under the "Functions" section within Formula Workshop and if so, should it appear under

Conversion
Date/Time
Numeric
String
or
System?

Or do I have to add it under "Repository Custom Functions" and if so, how do I do this?

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Here's the whitepaper:

Keep in mind that solutions are generally based on your software version, so please remember include it.

IF you have a repository, then you probably have a recent version of CR. You might consider just placing a Crystal formula in the repository in lieu of the UFL.

Thanks for the info. I will look at the white paper. Since I am VERY new to Crystal, I need to look into the syntax for formulas. BTW, Version 11 of CR.
