User files? Changing user on Quick install.

Quick Install on a vista Home Premium computer has an incorrect user listed and thus will not install files on sync (which works fine, otherwise). Palm Desktop shows the correct user. Does anyone have any idea how to alter the user in QuickInstall? Tried everything I could think of. Is it stored in a dll or other file, so that I could edit by hand? Registry?

Also: Does anyone understand how the user files are organized. Instead of the full user name, Jim Bob Burk, the only identifiable user folders are "Bob" and "BobJ" .
(A string search in Vista provides no results).

My issue is resolved: Vista requires the installation of Desktop v 6.2, which can be downloaded from PalmOne.com

The user BobJ is removed, but the user file named Jim Bob Burk, the file is named Bob.

Which brings up another question: How can one change the user on the handheld?
