I can see that there are user fields (5) in the sysactfil table but there is no option to enter/edit them in the system account edit screen. Can these fields be activated or added to the data entry screen ? Thanks.
Yes. Click on the designer icon, it looks like a T square. (you'll likely need to be signed on as SUPERVISOR to do this). Then right click the gray area of the screen and select unhide. You;ll see the UDFs and can unhide them.
You'll need to change the tab order as well because these fields will not be accessible unless you mouse click into them, which is a pain.
Finally, the modified screen,when saved, will be for the SUPERVISOR only. You'll need to copy this to user MACOLAED in order for all users to have the modified screen. Do this in System Manager->maintain->designer.

Yes. That's where I tried to bring up the designer and still get the message. I too thought the designer is part of the SQL version. Could the license file effect this ?
Yes it could if Exact made an error on your license. I would ask your reseller or exact regional office to look at your license and explain why designer is not included.
