USER.EXE fault..........

When I'm finished working in Windows Explorer and close it out, I receive the following message: This program will be closed.....Explorer caused an general protection fault in module USER.EXE at 000b:00001f53.
When I close the box, a couple of my desktop enhancements are closed. Any suggestions? Thanks
