How do I add records to a User Defined Recordset?

My declaration is as follows: -

Dim Rs as ADODB.Recordset
Set Rs = NEW ADODB.Recordset
With Rs.Fields
.Append "Field1", adVarChar, 20
.Append "Field2", adVarChar, 10
End With

You just .Open it then begin calling .AddNew, setting field values, calling .Update as usual.

You may have trouble using adVarChar instead of adVarWChar but then ADO may simply coerce it for you.
