Clarification regarding User Defined Funtion in UDB-DB2.

1) We have used SYSIBM.SYSDUMMT1 Table in the UDF and this UDF is used in a SELCT clause which will fetch across 5lakh records.
Will there be a performance issue. This UDB in turn calls another UDB which also uses the SYSIBM.SYDUMMY1 Table
Please clarify

2) I have create a UDF with schema name as ABC.UDF1 . While running the same it still expects the schema anme to be given.
Please clarify whether this can be made schema indepandant.
For example, to use the above I have to give the scehma name in SQL as follows:
SELECT fld1,fld2,ABD.EDF1(fld1) from table1

Please Clarify!

regards,
Nanda
