In excel and VBA you can define your own function and insert this function in Excel by means of Insert-Function ... . Then a window appears in which you select your user-defined function. Once you have done this, a window appears with the function and a number of lines to fill in your parameters.
The description of the complete function can be done by means of the Object-browser in VBA. (you search for the function , right-click for the properties and a dialog-box appears for the description of the function.)
However, when inserting the function in Excel, once the cursor is on a line of the parameter, I want to show a brief description of each parameter. With user-defined function nothing appears, with Excel-functions a brief description of the parameters is available.
How can I define my own description of the parameters so as to show this when inserting a function by means of Insert-function?

On the formula palette, you cannot display desriptions for each of the function's arguments. (Excel 2000 Power Programmng p. 265)
