User-defined field

When a user forgets to enter a date on the user-defined field, it returns 1/1/1900. I want it blank instead

I'd do it as

if {your.date} = Date(1900, 1, 1) then "Date Missed"
else Totext({your.date}, "dd MMM yy")

to format the date and distinguish 1900 from other possibilities like a null date.
