USER database won't backup

I have a mainenance plan running on all my user databases. One database in particular is giving me problems. In the mainenance plan history it give me this:

[Microsoft][ODBC SQL Server Driver][SQL Server]Repair statement not processed. Database needs to be in single user mode.

The Activity is: Check Data and Index Linkage


Anyone got any suggestions?

Try this... prior to step that is failing, ALTER DATABASE databasename SET SINGLE_USER. Then once it has completed, ALTER DATABASE databasename SET MULTI_USER.
