USer Created Borders

Hi there,

On a page ive drawn up a boarder id like to use as a page boarder but my problem is that i cant set it as a border. I i type anything in side the border then it all just moves down. How can i get it to sit behind and not move with text. Ive already set the images to be infront of text.

Hi,
Two suggestions:
1. Can you use one of the templates that are located in the Format|Borders and Shading|Page Borders - clicking on the Art drop down arrow to see what's available?
2. Can you place what you've created in the header/footer area of the document so it becomes permanent?

See if the following will give you what you want...

[I assume your border is an autoshape or object]
Double-click your AutoShape/Object
Colors and Lines tab
Change Fill color to No Fill
Layout tab
In Front of text
Advanced button
Text Wrapping tab
In front of text
Picture Position tab
Uncheck Move object with text
Check Lock anchor, if not already checked
Check Allow overlap, if not already checked
OK
OK
