I have a user that changed his screen resolution to one not supported by his video card and somehow accepted the change and now he can't see the screen. He has tried the "last known good configuration" with no luck. How can he recover this to a resolution that he can see?

Quick cheat is to attach a decent monitor that will cope with it and step it down again...

Reboot the machine, and from the boot menu select [VGA Mode]. This will start the PC with plain old vanilla 16-color VGA drivers. Then change to the correct one...

Hope this helps... - Bill
