Hi,

I checked the ulimits and its a jfs2 filesystem. The volume group is a normal vg.Does the vg need to be big or scalable to be able to write >2G files?
Thanks,
Ray

you dont need anything else, a simple jfs2 is ok if there is no ulimit problem.

It may depends of the process which created the file

I'm with Gloups in what he said! the 2G limitation with with jfs standard fs but not with jfs2!

Regards,
Khalid

How is the user creating the file?
