User cant reconnect after session timeout

If one of our Citrix users system crashes or they somehow leave a Citrix session incorrectly their session shows as disconnected in the Management console and the administrator has to reset the connection before the user can log in again. Is there anyway that we can set it so that whe this happens the admin does not have to reset the session but the user can log back in and continue with what they were doing as if nothing had happened?
We are using Presentation server 4.5.

This should be an automatic process for Citrix. If the session is in a disconnected state, then user should be able to log back in and Citrix should be able to tell (by either user name or client device name) that there is a disconnected session out there.

Have you applied any hotfixes for 4.5?
Do you have session reliability feature turned on?
