I did have my network on two segememts using coaxial cable but now I have them on one segement after installing a faster network card in the server. One W95 user has problems logging on. have 15 licences and tried deleting IP leases and shortening the lease period to 10 hrs

On the win95 box do a WINIPCFG make sure the IP is on the same segment. Also you can hit release then renew. Also you may need to add another protocol like IPX/SPX(Netbios) or NetBuei. W9.x boxes and previous all use Netbios to resolve names. You can use only tcp/ip if you have a WINS server.
