I have several reports on Business Objects:Crystal Reports Enterprise. Using my user name I can populate the report. I have entered several users to access the reports, and they can select the report they want. After they enter their user name and password for the crystal world login, their report comes back blank. Does anyone know what the problem could be?

What kind of access you have given to the user? It depends on that. Please check that and reply.

Sorry for the delay in replying - very busy few days. The user is allowed to run and edit the report, not allowed to delete it.

Go to the folder where you have published the report and check the rights. You also click the report level rights. You can also try to logon as user and check the output.

That didn't work. As an administrator, I can view the report. As a user "michele" cannot. I have her set to view and edit, and I've checked the other parameters. She isn't the only user who can't view the report on Business Objects Enterprise or Crystal XI. What else could I be overlooking?

Go in to the Central Management Console, Objects, click on the report, click on the Rights tab and click on the "Check User Rights" button.

Change the "Choose From" list box to display Users and Select the user you wish to have access to the report and click on "Show Rights".

The reason why those users cannot "see" the report will be on the list of rights. I would say you will see a DENIED right next to View Objects.

To grant the right, you'll need to add the group that these users are a member of to the groups under the report's rights tab and ensure the group is granted the view objects right. (And grant any other additional rights these users may need.)

Note you could set these rights at the folder level rather than the reports level. A report inherits the rights granted at it's parent folder level.

I looked at what you suggested (thank you for your suggestion; I'm trying anything!) and it says "granted" next to view objects. I copied the rights:

I figured out what is stopping those users from viewing their reports - their business unit security in JD Edwards. Now I just need to figure out how to change it without providing them too much security access rights. Thank you to those who tried helping me!!!
