user authorisation between multipe servers

Hi All

I need to provide a solution for two extranet servers which must be password protected. The two servers are running on different servers, AIX(apache) and Win2K(IIS5)
Is there a way to make it possible for visitors to logon one server and also browse on the other one. So logon id's and password must be equal on both servers and we want people just to logon on one server. I tried the server behaviour in Ultradev but couldn't get it working on two different sites.

Any help is welcome
