Here is my situation......

We have installed and got working Reporting Services 2005 on a server. We have setup some simple reports to view on the server. The problem we are having is the security per user. We have setup users to the server and reports, but when a certain user goes to view a report they don't see the report but are able to click on the security option and add the ability for them to see the report. Is there another area that needs to be setup so the user is not able to see the security option?/???????

Have you verified the users are only set up in the Folder Security as Browser? Publishers and Content Managers will be able to see many many things they aren't supposed to.

So might Report Managers.

Anyway, go to the Properties tab of your folders and verify the security abilities of all users. Make sure those who just need read access are set to Browser so they can't change any options.
