User and Group Accounts problem

My User ID is a member of ALL groups.
My User ID has ALL permissions for ALL Objects.
My User ID is the Owner for ALL Objects.

I am trying to add a group to a user and it does not add and I don't get any error.

I am also having a problem removing groups from the Admin User. I can remove all but 10 of the groups. Then it just stops removing the groups with no error.

I found in the FAQ how to do it in code using DAO. This fixed it and saved me from recreating the file.

I would still like to know why the Security UI would not work.
