Is there a way for me to check if a user is doing something, open window or so, at any given time?

Here's what I want, I have a 8 user license, so I want to log them off when they are not currently doing anything on GP. Is there a report for this or a table on SQL that I can use for this??

I'm on GP 8.0

Thanks for all your answers

I have the same problem 8 user and 9 computer

2 possible way i see
toll --> parameter --> system -->useractivity
with this windows you could log off who you whant

or if your on sql base use Select * from sy00800 in the dynamics table you will see if they working on something.

i already search for something like automatic log off and there is nothing

Thanks Cryep, the table is the one that I was looking for. I know that GP doesn't have an automatic log off, so I'm planning on doing a little aplication that every given time checks that and if they are not working or something log them off.

I wrote a tool that could do this before I joined MS.

Have a look at the Inactivity Timeout feature of Omni Password module of Omni Tools. It will (nicely) log users out of the system when they have not been active.

Please see the products page of for more info.
