I recently installed win2k advanced server and I cannot add users or computers to the server. I get an error telling me a windows cannot find the domain name. I have DNS running in active directory and the ip address is configured static. Any thoughts out there?

This is probably a dns issue. create an active directory integrated zone if you didn't already in dns. Also delete the "." zone, it is not needed. Point the server to itself in its ip settings.
