User access restriction

I have an openroad application which uses Crystal reports (CRW32 8.5.0.217. Depending on which user enters the application/report i want to restrict the report only to that user's data only. eg. If User John Doe enters the report then John Doe should only see John Doe's related information.

Some of these tools provide this type of user-based data restrictions.

In the case of my DataLink Viewer, it can automatically set a report parameter to the user_id who is logged in to the PC. You can design your report to restrict the info shown to that user by creating an appropriate record selection criterion.
