User Acceptance Testing 1

My team is having difficulty defining exactly what we should be doing for User Acceptance Testing of our Warehouse.

With a traditional operation system, UAT is fairly straight forward. Give them the system, and they go away and test it does what its meant to do.

But it doesnt seem any where near so easy on a DW. What processes to other companies/teams use to verify what they are doing is correct?
