Used Nortel Meridian system

I recently purchased a used Nortel Meridian phone system. I got a quote from a telephone guy to install system and he stated that I needed a special card. He said it was a 4 Port CO card with CID.

He is going to charge me $250 for it, refurbished. Is this a good price? Can I find it elsewhere cheaper?

Is it hard to program this system? Can it be programed from a PC?

The $ 250.00 is a good price, make sure you get at least a 1 yr. warranty with it. You could also get a DS card which is alot cheaper but it doesn't have CLID abilities.

I deal with a company called Atlas Phones, they have that card for $189 refurb. $225 new. He is making some money on the card. Shop around.
