I am new to JSP, and I need to know what databases I can connect to using JSP. For evaluation I really want to use something like Access 2000. Is this possible to do, as all that I can see at the moment is that i can connect to a SQL server or Oracle database, which i really don't want to have to set-up on this small testrig i have got.

Any help appreciated

hello

you can use the default Jdbc driver included with the JDK 1.3 (it's the Odbc-Jdbc bridge).

All that you need with access 2000 is to define a DSN in your ODBC configuration panel that describe the filename of your database.
