I've got a script where i create a custom spreadsheet.
What i'd like is to have some code that utilizes VBAEvents from a VBScript? Is this possible?

It depends the specificity. In sophisticated requirement, that can be very tricky. For more straightforward requirement, you can inject (hence custom design just like what is being done to the spreedsheets) code to the workbook/worksheet or standard code modules. For a vague statement of the need, the answer is yes for simpler case. For complicated case, yes, but need debug/research along the way to iron out crashes.
