Use VB to enable/disable device

Hi,

I want a real simple program that allows me to enable/disable a device in device manager. I installed a friend's PC with XP and their digital camera will only work if the scanner is disabled and vice versa (good old XP!), they have kids so they want a program that will do this for them.

why go through the process of righting a program...simply create a seperate configuration for them and for the kids in xp...in one disable the scanner in the other disable the camera...pretty simple actually...I have that setup on my system as I have 2 cameras and one has to be disabled for the other towork
