I just learned Crystal and am working on my first report. This is probably one of those "duh" questions but -

How do I use a .txt file as a data source? I can't figure out how to identify it.

Help is appreciated.

Create a new ODBC data source using a text driver
(e.g., "Microsoft Text Driver (*.txt, *.csv)").

Note: when you get to the "ODBC Text Setup" dialog,
Click on the "Options>>" button and use the "Define Format..." button to specify the field structure in the text file.

Cheers,
