Use Shortcut Key in Filter by Form

Is it possible to use vbkeyreturn when you are using the filter by form search. The users want to apply the filter once they hit the return or enter key (Instead of using the toolbar icons.)

I currently have code on the key down event, with keypreview selected to yes. This works fine until the point the same code is executed in the filter by form screen.

All suggestions welcome.
