I recently upgraded some win98 workstations to win2K. Users could logon from any w98 workstation and the 'logon script =' in smb.conf would execute - map drives etc. Since the w2k upgrade, the 'logon script =' does'nt fire & users can't logon unless I setup each user on each w2k workstation. When I setup the user on the workstation, the proper shares are accessable thru network neighborhood, but the logon script does not map the drives under 'my computer'.

Is this normal behavior? The workstations use 'Client for MS windows'.

I'm not as concerned about the logon script not working as I am about the task of setting up every possible user on each workstation.

I've trolled this and other sites for a solution. Any ideas or links appreciated.
