Is there any way I can use a PC as an external firewire/USB drive? Just come across this feature in Macs, very useful - you can boot em straight into 'drive' mode where they will slave exactly like a normal external drive.

Laptops can be fitted with an Adapter that connects that hard drive to a Desktop.

Mount an unbootable NTFS drive? !!HELP!! Tough one.

There's an adapter for EIDE to usb. You just have to unplug the cable from the drive and replace it with the adapter. It comes with an external power source to power the drive. I use mine all the time to backup drives that won't boot.
