We have migrated from POP3 to Exchange!

We are moving a user from Eudora to Outlook 2003 configured for Corporate and Workgroups.

His Outlook client views mail on the Exchange Server and has some POP3 accounts configured to pull from outside POP3 servers.

The user needs to delete individual emails from the POP3 server on demand like he can in Eudora, can he do this in Microsoft Outlook 2003 without being dependant on the deleted items folder or delete automatically after a time lapse features?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Amy

Hi Amy,

By deafult all messages are deleted from the POP server as soon as they are downloaded. There is an option in Outlook to leave messages on the server, indefinately and for a period of time?

Is this what you are asking?

Thanks.
