Objective: to use Business Views to create a single data source from mulitple stored procs.

Data Sources: 13 databases (from different locations) that are the same in structure. Currently, a single report that calls a stored proc is repointed to each database and run to produce individual reports for each site. I can use only the stored proc as a datasource, I am not authorized to hit the tables directly.)

Problem 1: Can I establish 13 data connections, one for each site, and join the stored procs together into a single Data Foundation? (There is one field whose value is common among all 13 sites and could be used to equal join - just not sure if it would work)

Problem 2: Does the existence of parameters in the stored proc prevent Problem 1 from being solved? (It has Start and End Date parameters)

You could do multiple connections using a main report and twelve subreports in the report header or footer. That's assuming they don't need to be linked. 12 subreports at detail level would work but would be horrendously slow.

Has anyone got a better answer?

For parameters, a value from the main report should be passed using Edit > Subreport Links. The field will be automatically posted for record selection in the subreport, though this can be changed.
