Crystal and Enerprise XI:

My report's source is a SQL Server Stored Proc,
it has one parameter,

I have created a Command to retrieve an
SupplierId and SupplierName with the intention
of using this for a 'list of values' to
make the parameter dynamic.

When i edit the parameter, select 'dynamic' there
are no 'values' to choose.

what am i doing wrong, how do i associate my 'Command'
with the StoredProc parameter to provide 'list of values' when the report is refreshed?

Thanks

I have made some progress by removing the 'Command' from
from the repository. I could then edit the parameter and
make a list of values.

But when i refresh the report i get two parameter
prompts instead of one. Firstly for the original
stored Proc integer parameter and then again for
the drop down list of values. I only want the latter.
How do i stop the first prompt from apearing?

I also wonder why putting a command in the repository is such a problem?

many thanks

Crystal/BO Ent XI,

I have a report linked to a stored procedure.
the stored procedure has one parameter.

In Crystal I revised this parameter be 'Dynamic'
and linked it's 'list of values' to a Command.

When I refresh the report I get prompted twice,
1st for the stored proc parameter and then for
a 'list of values' version.

How can i stop this duplication?

many thanks.
