Hi

I've created a table / form with a bound OLE object and I am trying to insert a jpg picture into the control.

I've got the process working fine for .bmp files (picture is shown) but when I try and insert object for a .jpg all I get is the icon and file name (I'm not selecting the show as icon radio button on the insert object window).

Any ideas, I think it's something stupid I've overlooked.

Thanks

Mick

Have you got a graphics package installed like Paint Shop Pro or Microsoft Photo Editor. Otherwise I'm sure Access won't recognise jpeg's

Yep, your right

I've just tryed it on another pc with some photo software and it works.

new it was something simple (when you know how!)

Thanks

Another option is to use it as clip art.
When inserting the object select create from file -> Clip art. I then added my picture under favorites. Then Access sees them ok.
