It's a long story, but because I need to use Bar Code Font 39, I need my date fields to have hyphens instead of slashes(04-01-2010 instead of 04/01/2010). The only options on the date format do not include hyphens. DOes anyone know how I can use hyphens instead of slashes?

Thanks!

you want to change how the data displays?
or you need it changed for calculation purposes?

If you want to change just the display, choose to Format the field (right click on field and choose 'Format Field...').
If your data is of date type, there should be a tab at the top called 'Date', select this choose the 'Customize' button from under the Style window.
The bottommost area is called 'Separators'
Click on the 'x+1' to the right of either 'First' or 'Second' (you will need to do both) and enter something like the following (adapted to your specific database fields of course):
If isNull({table.Date}) then "/" else "-"

This should substitute "-" between the day and month as well as between the month and year.

Thank you very much. That absolutely worked perfectly.
