Use of Blinker3 and CT lib

Hallo ................Use of Blinker3
I want to use the routine addmonth from the CA ct lib
I link without problems with this linkfile gilf.LNK
and the programme crash during execution
BLX 286 error 1313 exception error
how can this be avoided ... thanks ... Bob

You need to use the CTP.lib instead of CT.lib, it's the Protected Mode version of that same lib.

I've put it before any Clipper standard libs in the link-sequence to avoid 'bad' Clipper functions being linked in, instead of 'fixed for protected-mode' CT functions.

Btw, dat met ...\dosstore\... klinkt niet 'goed', oude meuk aan het oplappen?

I searched all my PC for that CTP lib that you mentioned .. I can not find it.
I have a official copy of CA catools ..
Can this CTP lib been downloaded anywhere ??

From Tools3.zip I unzipped the ctp52 lib as you suggested
The function addmonth works under the clipper version 5.2d
going to the next challenge ( problem ) now
many thanks..(this wonderful world of forums ! ! !)

Glad you got it going.

By 'oude meuk' I indeed meant 'old stuff', as 'dosstore' points in a POS (Point of Sale) direction, and I'm surely hoping this kind of software finally is leaving DOS territory :-D I'm pretty sure I couldn't know it has a volunteer/official good cause background. I wish you all the luck in keeping the stuff on-line! (Vista is going to give you a hard time with these DOS things, but you won't be switching to that any time soon I assume)
