Hey quick question which I am sure I know the answer but would like to ask anyway.

I have a cisco 2811 (2 eth's, 1 T1) We used to use it on our network before changing over to all ip phones.

Now I need a router at a branch office to connect a 100mbps WAN connection to the local switched network. I am thinking I could use the 2811 and just not use (or remove) the T1 WIC and not need to purchase another router.

The other option is to upgrade my Brocade layer 2 switch to layer 3, but if I have this 2811 at my disposal, couldn't I just use it?

TIA

nevermind, doesn't switch fast enough. 61.44 Mbps
