Hello all,

I need to know if it is possible to use my CX600 to solve my temp space problem. I have an old SUN Ultra 2 server, this server needs space asap. I need to know how to allocate space to this server if possible on my CX600. The Ultra does not have PCI slots, so I cannot use an HBA. I want to know how to allocate space to the server and maybe mount it via NFS.

Thanks

You are giving the answer... make new LUN with the needed space and assing it (storage group) to a current Unix server attached (and using) to the CX600. With the OS, mkfs and mount it, then export it via NFS.

what is your question?
