Use <Object> to download and run an exe on the client

I am trying to use the object tag to download and run an exe on the client, but I do not know the clsid or the version of the executable because it was generated by an MTS export. Does any one know what the syntax is to download an exe using the object tag without the clsid? I could always use -1,-1,-1,-1 for version info if I had to.
