Hi.

Does anyone know how can I use Central Europian characters in both XML and XSL documents? I'd like to display the extended C.Europian chars. I've tried the follows:

1. Type the desired char direct to XML.
2. <!ENTITY myChar "&#xF6" !>
3. I've put this in XML and XSL header:
<?xml version='1.0' encoding="ISO-8859-2" ?>

I couldn't get my char.

Thanks, Kiri

Hi.

I use different encodings and i have not any problems with it. I type special characters direct in XML (or XSL) by editor that is support desired encoding (they not look like Ӓ , not entity). I use corresponding headers in XML and XSL.
But I think that you must add <xsl:eek:utput encoding="ISO-8859-2"/> tag to your XSL also.

Best regards.
