CRXI - Having trouble using this Formula box. I can't find any documentation on this topic. I would like to base my sort order on two different criteria. But I'm not able to include Report Fields or current formulas.

If you can't include a formula, that's probably because it uses data from more than one record.

Look in Help->grouping->specified sort order->sorting groups conditionally. I agree this is confusing. This is set up for you to reference a parameter with sort options, like:

if {?sort} = "Ascending" then
crAscendingOrder else
crDescendingOrder

-LB

lbass - Thanks for the reference... It would be nice to be able to set formulas within the report based on pre-set conditions for sort orders. I could see were this (if {?sort} = "Ascending" then
crAscendingOrder else
crDescendingOrder
) could be helpful to the end users.
