Please,

Can anybody tell me how to install the MySQL client libraries on Windows 2000 Pro? I want to write some c programs to access our mysql databases. All the tutorials
I have found on the Internet, tell you that you have to install the MySQL client libraries but they don't tell me how (especially on Windows), including the MySQL.com web site.
I am really desparate at this point so I would appreciate any sort of help.
I have connected to mysql dbs with PHP, Perl and Java and it was a piece of cake. With C I have no clue where to begin.

Thank you very much,
Chris

I gave you links to lots of documentation, tutorials and the MySQL C driver for MySQL a couple of weeks ago : thread205-1188207 !!!
On one of the links has a name of "Installing MyODBC from a Binary Distribution on Windows " !!! Is that not good enough for you ?!!!

Sorry about that. I didn't mean to get you upset.+

It's just that the tutorials I have don't even mention anything about MyODBC, they just keep saying to install the MySQL client libraries. I guess that means the MyODBC.

I was looking for something a little simpler than going through the whole documantation of the MyODBC. I will do it though if I have to.

Greately appreciated though :)
