Use Blank Page option missing 1

Recently a visitor (grandson) "upgraded" this machine (one reserved for visitors<g>) to IE 10.

This caused the homepage to be set MSN. On all of our machines, we use a blank page as the homepage. In prior releases of IE, there was an option to "use blank page" to set the homepage. It is not available under tools/Internet Options even though the help says it is . . .

I've sent a note to MS, but it will probably take a while, I thought i'd ask here.

Has anyone dealt with this? Are we missing something simple?

In IE 10 go to Tools, Internet Options, and under the General Tab delete everything that is in the box for HomePage and type about:blank
