Use an Avaya LUADs door phone as an intercom

Dear all,

Trying to use a DoorKing Gate phone as a two way intercom on IP Office. I am successfully doing one way traffic where the person at the gate presses the button. Short code is set up for ?D which goes to a huntgroup and we can answer. Once you have two way you can start a conversation and press 9 to open the gate.

What i need to do now is be able to program a button to open the gate from the phone system. If i attach a butt set directly to the wire my phone port is on (goes to the gate) and just go off hook and dial 9 the gate opens. i need to recreate through the phone system with the cable from the door king in an analog port on the switch. i have tried auto intercom and that doesnt work.

Call the door intercom and it should answer when the door intercom is able to do this.
When it cannot answer then buy a different door intercom that has this option.

Finally got this to work last night. Found a programming item that allows for the doorking to auto answer. Once that happens you can put in a sequence of codes to get it to open. my new issue now is how to program a button to dial the extension wait a second then issue dtmf codes. I have tried everything. a shortcode such as Dial -> Number: 207,,*61515*,9 doesnt work. It just dials the extension and quits. how can i create a shortcode (button) that dials an analog extension then produces dtmf codes?????

when i look at SSA it only shows the call to the extension. does not show any more digits past that.
