use a command button to go to next tab page from another tab page

Is it possible to go to the next tab page, tab2, from another tab page, tab1? I am thinking of putting a command button in tab1 so that the user can just click on it to go to tab2 after filling all the fields in tab1.

Isn't that what the tabs on the tab control are for??
