I have two on-board USB ports and I've added a new 4 port USB PCI card to my PC. I'm trying to install a printer via the wizard but there are no virtual USB ports in the Drop down list. How can I get XP to have virtual ports in the list so that I can install the printer?

Please advise.
Thanks.

1. Disconnect all your USB devices
2. Start Device Manager an d expand the USB Controllers section.
3. Right-click on each one and choose Uninstall.
4. Restart your computer and check Device Manager again to see that no errors appear under USB Controllers.
5. Try the Printer Wizard again.
