USB to 1284c

Hi.
My new laptop doesn't have 1284a port on it. No big deal until the new office HP laserjet needs connecting to (forget the LAN out of hours) via a 1284c port. Obviously I#d use an a-c cable, but....and thus back to the start i.e. no 1284a on laptop.

I have in my bag a USB to 1284b, which I use to use on the really old printer and it did a dandy job.

Is there a similar converter out there for USB to 1284c, or failing that an adapter for b-c to allow me to connect me current usb-1284b cable to it and then into the printer?

P.S. I am in england in case anyone posts links to US webshops (although at a push I'd have to resort to that route)
