I am seeking a sniffer/analyzer for USB traffic that runs under Linux, preferably RHEL3 if it makes a real difference. Is there anything built-in that I have just missed, or does anyone have any recommendations about what works? I have tried a Google search and found a bunch of stuff for Windows, but came up pretty dry for Linux. I can't be the first or only person who wants one of these... am I?

Thanks!!

I have never heard of such a tool....
The traditional ethernet monitor is 'ethereal'

My guess is that somewhere between the kernel drivers for USB support and ethereal's approach lies your solution.
